Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the rights and responsibilities of all parties involved in this Agreement. Throughout this document, “you” and “your” refer to the Customer, and “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the Remover.

1. Our Quote

1.1 Our quote does not include insurance, customs duties, inspections, or other taxes payable to governmental bodies.

1.2 We reserve the right to adjust the final price or additional charges due to specific circumstances, including:

  • Failed or late service delivery, additional services, service delivery at a different location than specified, and parking fees.
  • Service delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions.
  • Agreements to modify our liability as stated in Clause 8.1.

1.3 A Value Added Tax (V.A.T.) of 20% will be added to the final bill.

1.4 Unless otherwise agreed, all prices are calculated on an hourly basis. The minimum charge for all services is two hours (except for packing – one hour). If the service duration exceeds the agreed period, the same hourly rates will apply. If the job takes less time, the price will be adjusted accordingly, considering the minimum booking period.

1.4.1 Charges commence upon our arrival at the first collection address and end after unloading your possessions at the final delivery address.

1.4.2 Additional charges may apply for travel outside the M25 or in Congestion Charge zones. You will be notified in such cases.

1.4.3 Each service has a minimum booking period of two hours (or three hours for three movers). We require your registered address and debit/credit card details for booking. Payment is processed upon completion.

5. Goods Ownership

Frequently Asked Questions

When you book our house removals, we plan the route, protect floors and furniture, then load using straps, blankets and careful positioning. Over 12 years of professional removals and relocation services means we're used to tight staircases, lift access rules, and quick turnarounds between keys and completion. You'll also get clear communication about timing, what's included in the quote, and how we'll handle fragile items. For reassurance, we're fully insured, and our movers are DBS-checked so you're not inviting strangers into your home. Many customers tell us the day feels calm and well-managed because the job is methodical from start to finish.

Yes - our packing support is designed to reduce damage risk and make moving day easier. We use protective materials such as eco packing boxes, cushioning wrap and corner protection, then label boxes clearly so nothing gets misplaced. For bigger pieces, we use protective blankets and secure furniture with straps during transit, which helps prevent shifting. We also take photos before and after key stages so you have a simple record of condition. If you're moving in a high-rise or through places like a busy central development near a tube station, we'll plan how to get items to the vehicle quickly while keeping hallways and stairwells safe. If you only need part-packing, we can tailor it to what you want.

We take safety and care seriously, which is why our team follows established UK handling practices and internal quality checks. Our movers are fully insured, DBS-checked, and trained to use correct lifting techniques, protective wrap, and securement methods for transport. Where relevant, we also align with industry expectations associated with SafeContractor and we keep procedures consistent across house removals, office moves and furniture transport. That training covers everything from disassembling beds and securing wardrobes to protecting door frames and managing awkward items. It's one reason our customers rate us highly on review platforms like Google Business Profile and Trustpilot. If you want, we'll explain the equipment we use for your specific property and access constraints.

Our removals are fully insured, so if something unexpected happens during handling or transit, you have proper protection. We treat every move with care - items are wrapped and protected before loading, and larger furniture is secured so it arrives safely. The exact cover can depend on the service level you choose and the items you're moving, so we confirm details during your booking and before moving day. If you're moving valuable items, fragile collections, or expensive electronics, we'll advise the safest packing approach. It's also helpful to know we follow Compliance: following all UK transport, safety, and handling regulations, and we work to keep your property protected throughout the process. You can also share photos of any existing scuffs so expectations are clear.

Pricing is usually based on the number of items, distance, timing, and the level of packing or storage you need. If we need to account for access constraints - like no lift, narrow stairs, parking restrictions, or a long carry from a Loading Bay - we'll factor that into the quote upfront. We don't believe in surprises, so we ask a few practical questions during booking, then explain any assumptions clearly. If you have a tight slot around London Borough of Camden parking permits or estate rules, tell us - planning early helps keep the day smooth. Our team can also suggest options like pre-booking parking or adjusting the loading route, which can reduce delays. Get in touch for a detailed, transparent quote for your move.

Absolutely. For heavy furniture, TVs and large appliances, we use professional moving equipment and techniques designed to reduce strain and prevent scratches or dents. Our movers typically bring protective blankets, straps, and relevant tools for disassembly - so items can be carried safely through doorways and down staircases. This matters most when you're moving from a ground-floor flat to a van, or when the route includes turns around landmarks like a local shopping street or park access. We also plan for safe loading so your TV won't end up rattling in transit. If you want extra protection, we'll suggest the right approach for screens, mirrors and delicate frames.

We provide professional removals across London and nearby boroughs, so you can use the same team whether you're staying local or moving between boroughs. Popular nearby areas include: Westminster (Westminster), Camden (Camden), Islington (Islington), Hackney (Hackney), Tower Hamlets (Tower Hamlets), Greenwich (Greenwich), Lewisham (Lewisham), Southwark (Southwark), Lambeth (Lambeth), Wandsworth (Wandsworth), Hounslow (Hounslow), and Ealing (Ealing). If you're unsure whether we cover your street, just share your postcode and preferred moving date. We'll confirm availability, advise on access and parking, and outline the most efficient route for your property. That's why many customers book us again for second moves and family relocations.

Yes - planning is the difference between a smooth arrival and an avoidable wait. For example, we often coordinate around roads with restricted parking and busy footfall, like Kings Cross Road in Camden and High Holborn in central London, plus areas near well-known transit links. Our crew checks access, agrees the loading plan, and keeps you updated if timing changes due to road closures or permit checks. If you're close to a landmark such as Hyde Park or along routes near major junctions, we'll suggest the safest point to stage the van so stair carries are minimised. That careful approach helps protect your home and keeps the day moving. Tell us your street and timescale and we'll build the plan around it.

Sometimes completion dates slip, or you might need short-term overlap between your old and new home. If that happens, we can help with storage options so your belongings are kept secure until you're ready. We'll discuss how long you need storage, what access is required, and how we'll handle packing and labelling for easy unpacking later. If you also need help with office moves, we can coordinate a staged transfer so teams can resume work quickly. We also take care with fragile goods, and we ensure items are packed in a way that remains safe while in storage. Just let us know your target move date, collection timing, and any flexibility you have.

We keep environmental impact in mind throughout the process. Eco rating: 92% of packing materials and transport methods are eco-friendly and low-emission, including eco packing boxes and protective materials selected to reduce waste. We also plan routes and loading to limit unnecessary mileage and keep transit efficient. If you're moving from one London borough to another, that route planning can make a noticeable difference. Where possible, we encourage reuse and recycling of packaging after delivery. In short, you get careful professional protection without unnecessary excess. If you'd like, we'll recommend the most sustainable option for your items, especially for cartons, protective wrap and padding.

Yes - small spaces are where good removals technique really shows. We use protective blankets for walls and floors, plus straps and controlled lifting so items don't scrape doorframes. For narrow staircases, we may also disassemble certain pieces and then reassemble after arrival where appropriate. If there's a shared lobby, lift booking rules, or limited access time, we coordinate the plan in advance so our team can work efficiently without blocking neighbours. We're used to these challenges across London, including older properties near busy junctions and areas around local stations. Our goal is always safe handling and clear progress on the day, so you can focus on settling in.

We handle both house removals and office moves, as well as furniture transport for businesses and relocations between sites. If you're moving an office in London, we can work around staff schedules and agreed downtime to minimise disruption. We pack office equipment with care, protect desks and chairs, and label items so reinstallation is easier. For bigger items like meeting room furniture, filing cabinets and modular systems, we plan how they'll be safely carried and loaded, then secured for the journey. If you need packing, storage, or partial furniture-only transport, we can tailor the service. Our track record: 3400+ successful moves completed locally, and that experience helps us manage timelines even when access rules are strict. You'll also find our DBS-checked movers follow the highest safety standards.

We understand why people want reassurance before they let a removal team into their home. That's why our movers are DBS-checked, and we operate as a properly insured moving company. Our customers also share their experience on trusted platforms like Google Reviews and Trustpilot, and the feedback is backed by a high Rating: Rated 4.8 stars from 431+ verified reviews. We don't just rely on promises - we back it up with consistent procedures, careful packing, and clear communication. If you're concerned about security on moving day, feel free to ask about our process and what the crew will do on arrival. We can also align with any access rules for your building, so everything is handled professionally and respectfully.

After the move, you may have cardboard, bubble wrap and other packing materials left over. Many London boroughs offer recycling and reuse routes, and following them helps cut landfill waste. For example, you can check your local council's recycling centre guidelines and materials accepted for paper/cardboard, plastic film and mixed packaging. If you used eco packing boxes, these are often easier to flatten and recycle. We can also advise what to keep and what to break down before collection. If you're unsure, tell us your borough and what packaging you expect to have, and we'll suggest the most sensible next step. It's a simple way to extend the life of materials and keep things eco-friendly after delivery.

You can usually book with us by sharing your moving date, postcode, and a rough list of items. If you're in London and working to a specific completion time, the sooner you contact us, the better - our experienced team helps plan around access and parking requirements. We'll confirm what's included in the service (packing, transport only, or full removals), then schedule a time that suits your availability. If you need flexibility, let us know early and we'll do our best to accommodate it. Many customers book after finding us through local listings like Yell or Search results connected to our Google Business Profile, then they follow up for a tailored plan.
